Colorado native Eleanor Byström currently resides in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband Jesper & cat Valerie.
Many of her paintings take place in her grandparents' modern home that her grandfather (Bauhaus schooled architect) designed and her grandmother decorated. The playful, sometimes distorted and not-to-scale images are her way of expressing memories & feelings.
Eleanor also enjoys experimenting with performance and video art. The spiritual inspiration in some of her work comes from an interest in mediation and Eastern religion.
